A translation of this devarnama would be much appreciated!
I’m having trouble with the word to word meaning.

Thank you :)

I am trying this for a lark, I don't find this song in my book, so can't comment on the original.

{hope you can reorder the sequence of words, obviously Kannada uses object first and subject last}

P: kaDagOla * tArenna * cinnave - oh my darling child (bit of gold) * please bring me * the churning rod,
mosaroDedare *beNNe *bAradu* rannavE - My gem of a child, if the curd splits/spoils, butter won't come (means I need your timely help now)

A: aNNanavoDagUDi *bArayya * nitya meluvinante - please come along with your big brother, as everyday
C1: puTTagUciya * tandu *ninnaya toTTila kAlige *kaTTisuve - I will bring a small coloured bell charm and will get them to tie it to the foot/frame of your cradle (so you can enjoy watching it as you rock)
baTTalu
tumbida *sakkare *ninagIve - I will give you a bowl full of sugar,
kaTTADi *muddina *giNiye - hugging and fondling you, you pretty parrot of a kid,
bA *rAma - oh Rama, please come!
2: baDavara *bhAgyada* nidhiyE -
oh the great wealth of fortune for the poor (who are devoted to you),
gOkuladavoDeya *purandara viThala - the Lord of Gokula, Purandara Vitthala,
krSnayya * kaDaloLu * duDuku mADuvarEnu - oh Krishna, will they do some wrong in the ocean (?? If you come away, will they err in Kshirasagara in your absence?)
rangayya * ranga* bA *rama - Oh Ranga, Ranga, please come, Oh Rama!

Thank you so much Sachi_R,
I was wondering about the word puTTagUciya, some translations say puTTabUciya- does this mean butterfly/dragonfly?

Yes,there are more lines, 4 lines for each charanam.

And one more charanam.

It happens with many of Sri Purandara compositions.

Someone is tempting Krishna with a gollywig! Why not a mutant Ninja dinosaur😀

It's quite common to tie colourful trinkets and bells to cradles in my part of the world. In fact what I bought and sent to Toronto is a big hit with my grand nephew 😀

In some of Sri Purandara dasa compositions,

the word "bUci" is referred to brahma.
