kavi kunjara bhArati's compositions are very nice! Did not know about this one. A few points -

1. enakkun irupadam - the version I love is the one I first heard - the one by Smt. MSS - it followed tiruvEnkaTamuDaiyAn tiru paLLiazhaicci (the tamizh version of the venkaTESa suprabhAtam) in one of the commercial releases.
2. mannamE (anda) rAmanai pADa - discussed here: http://www.rasikas.org/forums/viewtopic.php?id=3926

3. There is a tAlATTu song that MLV has sung in a commercial release that goes - 'tAyAr SorpaDikku' - that gives a synopsis of the rAmAyaNam (I think the song is in vasantA).

4. Finally I find the following SlOkam to provide a very brief sketch of the highlights/significant events in the rAmAyaNa:
