Ambika: here are the first 2 charaNAs with corrections as I know this Sabdam
kandane = Oh murugA
unnai = you
enda nEramum = at all (enda) times (nEramum)
sindaiyil vaittu = keeping (vaittu) you in my thoughts (Sindaiyil)
undan aDi = your (undan) feet (aDi)
toDum = (someone who) touches (toDum) [I hear it as tozhum = one who prays at your feet]
yendan mIdinil varmama? = why are you being spiteful to me (yendan mIdinil = at me, varmam = spite)
unakkendan = unakku+endan mIdinil varmama
The heroine asks lord murugA: Why are you ignoring me? Why are you spiteful? After all, am I not the devotee whose thoughts never waver from you and your divine feet?
paruvamuLLa = filled with youth (a beautiful young damsel in the first blush of youth)
enadu = me
arugil = near
manmathan = cupid
uramtanil = uram + tanil = into (tanil) my heart (uram)
malar Sarangal = flowery arrows (panca bANa - aravindam, cUtam, aSOkam, navamallikA, and the deadly nIlOtpalam)
vISuvadAl = because he is throwing (vIsudal = throw)
viraham = pangs of separation
mIrudE = is uncontained (mIrudE)
yenseyven? = what can I do?
ati viraham mIrude yenseyven (ati = extreme)
Here I am, a lovely young lady in the first blush of youth, being tormented by the arrows of cupid. And I find the pangs of separation unbearable, and I am not sure how to deal with this.
