From a book:

I saw, the creator of all creations, the supreme-most I saw!
I saw and was absolved of all sins, the real being I saw!

The magnificient mountain of Sesha's gems, I saw
The splendid mantapas, I saw
The golden altars studded with natural nine gems, I saw
The gopurams covered by Sesha, I saw!

The pure and sacred 'Papavinashanam', I saw
The 'Akashaganga' which can be received intio the hands, I saw
The divinity of all auspicious 'teerthas', here-itself I saw
Thje 'koneru' that is praised by the learned, I saw!

For the exalted sages, which can be perceived in their minds
that matchless lotus like feet, I saw
The divine hands that show the eternal hills, I saw
The Lord of Venkatachala, thus, I saw

Some corrections to the above translation :::

phanamanula - means nAgamani

"The 'Akashaganga' which can be received intio the hands"--- kai + vasam = hands + get into ----- this is not what Annamayya meant ---

kaivasam means to captures ones heart ( mentally) so one who sees akAsaganga gets captivated by the mere sight of it.

thiramaina should be Sthiramaina - the one which is stable - sthira

---- This krithi might have been written by him when he first had the vision of tirupathi or visited tirupathi

- At his lotus feet "srI padarEnu"

Doesn't Sri pAdarENu mean the dust under his divine feet?

rshankar jI

you are right.

pAdarEnu is dust on the feet.

pAdarajam also means the same.

***

Sanskrit as well as telugu words in Sri Annamacarya kritis

are differently written.

In the above keertana, it is *tiramina* which means *sthiramaina*

Similarly *bADu*;;pADu

kanTi::ganTi

bAyamu::prAyamu

gAgili::kAgili.

gonDa::konDa

gAyamu::kAyamu

There are innumerable examples like this.

rshankar ji,

I think the last line in post#3 has been misread.

raviraghu ji has signed off the post with the last line

referring to himself::

At His Lotus Feet::SrI pAdarENu.

This word does not seem to be in the keertana.

Regards.
