I found this message after reading about the release of the CD of arasi's compositions. (Congratulations, arasi.)
I found Carnatica's CD http://carnatica.net/shoppingarcade/Prd ... .php?id=41 a terrific one, in particular the opening "Gananayakam". (Sujatha Vijayaraghavan provides vocal support.)
Could we hear more about this artist? From arasi, perhaps?

Actually, Arasi, or CML will be able to tell us more. [Smt. Sujata Vijayaraghavan is Smt. Sadagopan's daughter and Sumitra Nitin's mother. She is a musician and dancer, and writes very educational and informative columns for newpapers in Chennai. Recently, she was the anchor for Smt Radha's lec-dem at the Music Academy (on the vazhuvUr p(b)ANi of bharatanATyam)].
