Shri.Pasupathi is a product of Kalakshetra, Chennai, India and learnt music under Sri. "Tiger" Varadachariar,
Sri. Budalur Krishnamurthy Sastrigal, Sri. T.K. Ramaswamy Iyengar, Sri. Mudikondan Venkatarama Iyer and Sri.
Mysore Vasudeva Acharya. He also learnt to play the veena under Smt. Kalpagam Swaminathan apart from being
Proficient in bharatanatyam and nattuvangam.
He graduated with a post graduate diploma in Music from Kalakshetra and went on to serve on its faculty before
Leaving for Tirupathi. He then joined S.V. Music College Tirupahti as a Lecturer in 1960 and retired in 1987
As Principal of the institution.
He cam back to Kalkshetra to serve as Vice Principal as per his promise to Smt. Rukmani Devi who brought him up,
Till his retirement in 1995.....
