A student of Lalgudi Brahmanandam and Anuradha Sridhar , from the great Lalgudi school , apoorva is young and perhaps shows aleady a rare steak of LGJ . She takes up thillana in ranjani . Her paramaguru's anna Lalgudi Jayaraman took lot of rare ragas and only took thilllanas and varnams in those ragas . May I know if there is any thilllana in ranjani, i think may there is not one yet. Musicians like Anuradha Sridhar are making huge impact to bay area. I was not sure where Apoorva is - was she in us or india . Now with her stay in bangalore , we are indeed having lot of great talent.

Delighted to see Apoorva's achievements. CM is alive and well and flourishing, and is chosen by more and more youngsters with such seriousness to pursue it. From North America, after Sandeep and Ramakrishnan Murthy, we see young Apoorva loving it and achieving all that we read above about her. She's one of the first torch bearers of the Cleveland phenomenon. Two years ago, I heard her as an accompanist in Bengaluru, went backstage to compliment her, and the glow on her face spoke of her involvement and love for music. More accolades to her in the future
