Uday Shankar is the inventor of the instrument Chitravenu. We all know him for his brilliant style of writing . I hope soon there is a mandolin srinivas like fresh blood rasika who is born to take up this instrument chitravenu. Writeup of his came in Jan 03rd,2018 in The Hindu

Do you prefer it to be written as chitra-venu ? Is there any significance in that dash between chitra-venu that may be a logical to indicate chiraveena and venu (flute) combo but it can turn out to be an internet search engine nightmare?
