While veena instrumentalist have a divine saraswati as a great backend ,for flute divine krishna is not taken that seriously. Also among the instrumentalist flute surely needs more support . I personally like KS Gopalakrishnan the most and among the youngsters this young sruthi sagar plays exceptionally well even bit having the edge over other contemporaries. There is also KV Ramanujam whose name I did not spot this season
I have no idea about Grand son of R Ramani - Athul kumar . Last year i did spot him in a dance concert in US . As such nice to see that he has taken a gopikathilakam RTP .
