A very interesting list. Lji - thank you for posting. Do you by any chance have the lyrics to the compositions of the vocalists' grandfather?
IIRC, the younger of the two is Sornalata and not Swarnalata.

Thanks for the correction. I have amended the post. I have also asked Sornalata for the lyrics and am hoping I will get them sometime soon.

Just double checking on the thillAnA in bindumAlini. There is a thillAnA by chitravinA ravikiran in the same rAgA , may be suchindram sivasubramania pillai did not compose one too in bindumAlini.

That is a lovely write-up by Gowri. Both she and her husband have real writing skills: it make such a change from the overblown use of long, and often wrong, words that we often see in the newspaper.
