Kalavanta 2016 from 25th to 29th May 2016

For the third successive year, Karnataka Fine Arts Council* (KFAC) is bringing , Kalavanta, an event to showcase the Youth talent in Carnatic music. There will be 14 concerts , both vocal and instrumental featuring 45 upcoming young artists from all over India and a few from abroad. The best performers will be given the title Kalavanta in various categories along with cash awards.

The Venue this year is Seva Sadana, 14th Cross, Malleswaram,Bengaluru.560 003.

* KFAC is an organisation formed to promote Classical Arts. Nadasurabhi and nine other leading sabhas in Bangalore, Gayana Samaj, Sri Rama Lalitha Kala Mandira, Ananya, SGBS trust, BTM Cultural Academy, Bharatiya Samagana Sabha, Vishesha Fine Arts, Ranjani Fine Arts and M.A.Narasimhachar Music Foundation have come together to form KFAC.
