The Opening day of Navaratri festival started with a melodious and divine concert in Lalgudi tradition.

The concert started with Nadatanumanisham - Brindavana followed by Shankari Neeve in Begada,Manavyalakinchara in Nalinikanti.
The main item was in Purvi kalyani - Meenakshi Memudam Dehi - dikshitar.
I have perhaps omitted a couple of songs.
A good crowd gathered for the concert,but initially the sound system needed some adjustments.
I had to leave after the main piece due to Bangalore Public Transport which becomes thinner and thinner beyond 08:00 PM.
The percussion support was very good with good volume control.
