Bale Bale!! Very good concert, only one neraval though, still sabash for that! Ravi Chandrika alapana was interesting, I only "got" it half way thro his alapana, then he confirms in the end. I wish he sang all the the charanams for ini namakku oru.

Few days ago I posted a G Ravikiran concert review, where he also sang dakshiNaamoorttE, the neraval was at akshaya suvarNa vaDa vruksha moola sthitE. And I mentioned that I've never previously heard neraval for this krithi. Two now in a short span. More the merrier, what an absolute wonderful wonderful krithi.

I found Sri Mohan Santhanam's vocalisation a bit uncomfortable for my liking.
I liked his music and the content but wish it could be cloaked in a more pleasing presentation.

Me too; even with the bits that I liked, I was not prepared to keep listening to the concert recording after a very short time.
