Ravikumar joined late, he came as the charanam for Bhajare was sung. He joined in the swarams and apologised after the krithi for being late due to coming from another concert. A "chowka" kala concert, the pieces were rendered in a slow unhurried manner. Kalyani neraval was very nice. A big bale to Ganapathiraman & Shankar to keep the kalapramanam intact.

Thanks to the artists who agreed that such experience can be shared with wider audience.

"Bhaja Govindam" was my request. I prompted someone in the hall to pass a chit an how beautifully he added an icing to the cake through a lovely slokam! Such events are not concerts - these are experiences we cherish for a life time.

Watching this online is no match to what it would hav ebeen if we could attend such a concert live. Still we can relate to it I guess.

Beautiful concert. NO GIMMICKS No BREAK NECK SPEEDS NO CIRCUS going up and down in scales to prove a point or the mastery.

Effortless, no unnecessary body movements.

Perhaps the kind of music that gives a lot of inner peace when you listen.

Sri Suri Babu follows his Guru Sri Voleti and Parama Guru Dr. Pani Garu to the tee. The kriti renditions are in the same lines as sung by Sri Voleti. A great artist.
