An excellent team work. Amritha Murali a very promising vocalist performed on Feb 5 for Shri Rama lalita kala Mandira with the very experienced team.
Some of the songs which i could make out were:
SumasayAka - Karnataka Kapi -Swathi Tirunal
Neelajayaakshi - shyama sastri
Marubalka- Thyagaraja - sri ranjini
Nidhichala Sukhama - kalyani
Chetasri balakrishnam - dwijavanti - dikshitar
Sarasamadana - Kapi Narayani - thyagaraja
RTP - vakhulabharanam - Could not make out other intricate aspects
Some more Miscellaneous songs including Purandara devaranama
Bangalore rasikas are yet to recognize Amritha in spite of being featured for second time by Srirama Lalita Kala Mandir.
Loss is for Rasikas.It was a blissful concert.

I think Amritha Murali is a complete artiste with melody, depth, repertoire, and good delivery. She deserves every encouragement.

Artistes like Amritha actually form the true treasure of Carnatic music. They further the art more than they further their own careers.

I am missing all these concerts. I do hope fondly that someone will share audio/video clips.

I once heard live vakulabharanam RTP by Suryaprakash. historically Bombay Jayashri has sung . I think the genius mandolin srininvas was the first one to attempt RTP in this haunting raga. More power to all those who sing RTP in this rare gem vakulabharanam

Thank you Sachi sir.I remember to have met you in Amrita'concert at Sri rama lalitha Kala Mandira to commemorate M S S centenary celebration.
I wonder why Rasikas flock only if artists are only popular.
In the Dec 2017 Music season Music Academy scheduled RaGa sisters concert at 04:00 followed by Amritha at 06:45 PM.I could manage to get only Screen ticket for the evening.Soon after the RaGa concert there was heavy exodus of people as if next concert is not there including in the mini Auditorium for screen viewing.
The compliments you have listed for Amritha Murali is no exaggeration.

Ghatam was Sri.Guruprasad.

Very good concert. Amrita's voice is perfect and sweet. Absolutely unslipping swara sthaanam. Initial varnam and final songs were too slow to my taste . Overall it was an excellent concert. Violin-superb. Mridangam showed his class on occasions. Mostly quiet and sometimes slow tak-tak wooden sound was not easy on the ears.

mrita Murali's chaturdasa ragamalika of MD but everytime the YTD downloader says, 'failed'. Can anyone who has downloaded the song as sung by her give me a link or tll me an alternate way to download from YouTube?

I also want MD's 'Sri Valmeekalingam' (Kambhoji) and 'Sri Sundararajam' (Kasiramakriya). But the net has only Vijay Siva singing it. Anybody else sang the two songs? Like Amrita Murali or Suguna Varadachari or Seetha Rajan?

This was a concert my grand niece dragged me to because she had heard her during the Chennai season.
What a fine musician Amirtha is!!
The team produced serious music - the kind that will elevate the soul.
