A vibrant concert with top class accompanists. Lot of verve and energy through out. His traditional approach with gana katchitam renditions as well as svarams as always I have heard on youtube. ravicandrikA @ No 3 was the pace setter. A very creative Alapana, and Charumathy picked it up @ mAmava maragata - but later turned out to be a different song.

The No 4 - viruttam based Alapana - as it was elaborate won people's hearts as he ended with SivakAmi nESanE , enai yInDRa ISanE reemphasizing those two lines back to back. It covered all stages of kalyAni.

The kriti seemed a short lived exercise.

DhanyAsi Alapana was in proportion - not too elaborate. the neraval was the high point - a long drawn one. The svarams took advantage of the 2 offset - leaving 12 to cover for the Avartanam - he peppered it with caturaSra triSram in between. Manoj's crisp accompaniment enhanced the concert, with precise landings.

Manoj gave a scholarly, but a short tani , with triSram and lot of split sollus in caturaSram.

rAmakali kriti was a serene interlude.

RTP : rAgam was usual flourishing bhAgESrI - a switch off for many. The tAnam in kannaDa and mOhana kalyaNi were impressive by both of them.

The pallavi had the familiar MDR kriti line from same rAgam. The setting was bit asymmetric for pURvAngam, he had a 4ish landing on na, vi, bho|.
After rAgamAlika svarams , he sang the kriti.

With HM filling the air, it took time for me to identify sindhu bhairavi for the SlOkam - I had to scratch my head and try and remember an AIR time adjuster from yore - a MSG violin something.

After a nice Bhajan in yamunakalyANi, he rendered a vervy tillAna in pUrvi , popularized by KVN. Rounded off with tiruppAvai in suruTTi.

A nice vibrant concert, with a bit of let down in pallavi - both the setting and the rAgam choice.

I fixed most other issues that I could see, except that one where I stand ground as a poly-lit
