Uniformly excellent to sublime concert; and within that the bEgadA swarams, pUrnachandrika song, Arabhi & HK AlApanai's stood out. It was a case whole team being greater than the sum of parts.

KAP was so good - I still don't get what for is he being castigated! He has his own way/style of playing - no assault on ears being the most key thing in that, and no 20-30 min percussion thani (percussion kutcheri within kutcheri) in a 2:30 - 2:40 hours concert, modulating his play to bring lot of soft & emphatic plays.

Sorry to nitpick but praise a bit overrated I think - his voice is quite nasal and not so great in higher octaves - yagnadulu was just okay - seemed like he was forced to pick the song to gratify Ramnad Krishnan but unable to do justice'.
To me voice quality of singer is crucial aspect for sukham and even nidaanam. His keech keech voice put me off
Enduku was sung well nevertheless
