MaheshS,
The rAga mAlikA is from Vedanta Desikar's aDaikkalap pathu (ten verses of surrender). Sanjay sang these three verses from it a couple of years ago--setting them to music. The video of it is a visual treat of the utsava murthy at the Varadarajap perumAL temple in Kanchi.

Wherever concerts are webcast / available in YouTube I suggest forumites can actively contribute to the concert reviews to make them more participatory and interesting. (May be one can add a tag as to whether attended in person or not OR watched in the social media.)

I attended the programme at the venue. The concert of Sunil was webcast and also available in the net.

The concert was very lively and Sunill is clearly on an upscale. The august presence of Guru Sri P S Narayanaswamy added greatly to the concert atmosphere. The veteran accompanists were seen encouraging the singer then and there besides receiving sabhash's for themselves in abundance!

A very good recital.
