That jOnpuri hari chitta satya of Purandara Dasa, she sang with verve here too in BengalUru last evening at SRLKM. How much she reminds us of her father in her excellent explorations and ease of delivery! The RTP in Sri, DurgA and saraswathi was a winning combination.--in her essaying it, her transitions from one rAgA to the other back and forth was a delight. Vittal Rangan, the 'local boy' responded deftly to that as well. Listened to Arun Prakash after quite a while. Was it also at Sriranjani's concert at NGS last season?AP's distant thunder moments are as soothing and pleasing as ever. He played quite a bit and I was mighty pleased.
Another song which I hadn't heard in a long while ) Ramasami Pillai's ekkAlathilum (the main) in purvi kalyani. She dealt with it in detail and with gusto.

I watched the Shaale webcast of SRLKM concert. I feel this lady is climbing the ladder of excellence fast. She has a very pleasant, pliable, puissant voice. Definitely a very good control of raga and laya aspects and a very attractive manodharma. She also chooses compositions smartly, too. All in all a good package.

Is anyone watching the cricket down under? Indians are showing the same "good package".
