After some initial hiccup with sound, which they fixed within 2 mins, you forget its a single mic concert. Because, the sound is seamless, second with the quality of the concert, you forget about the technicalities as you are completely absorbed!

I attended this concert. The concert maintained a high standard in terms of his voice power, manodharmam, dedication and support of the pakkavadyams. Started with Vallabha nayagasya, then presented an unheard composition of Thyagaraja in the ragam Saveri-Ramabhirama Raghurama. Elaborate neraval on the lines Nee sarisamana everilero Sree Rama and the elaborate kalpana swarams were enjoyable. The Bhairavi ragam on the pattern of the mighty Swarajati - well structured, disciplined with the choicest brighas, gamakams, jarus, and the unhurried presentation of the song were the highlights of the concert. The main piece was Kalyani- an elaboratre alapana and a Ramaswamy Sivan composition Venkataramana Pankajacharana were good.

Nagai Sriram played very well supporting the vocalist. The percussion team also played iin an unobtrusive manner and lifted the concert significantly. The hall was full.
