I request them to write about "music related events" in Mysore.

I would think the music scene is still vibrant in Mysore - afterall Mysore was a rich center of music for several centuries!

I am not covering Mysore.. I am guilty of not updating Bangalore events on time, for various reasons. This list was sent by one gentleman from Mysore.

Back to the topic of coverage of Mysore concerts, Hindu Newspaper ( Bangalore Edition) on Fridays, do cover some reports of concerts held in Mysore. These are, if I remember right, written by a person named V Nagaraj.

Thanks for taking the time to post a very impressive list of concerts in Mysore! I wish rasikas from all over the world inform us of happenings in their city, so that we don't get posts like, "I wish I had known about this!" when they see reviews. It will aslo make us feel better about the state of CM!
I notice that KAsim Brothers are playing Nagaswaram one morning. Good news for the ancient instrument that gets included in a music festival. Jayanthi Kumaresh's vINA and Ravikiran's ChitrvINA concert too!

V.Nagaraj used to post on rasikas.org. He also writes reviews for the newspaper (Deccan Herald?).

It was performed on Sept 1, 2011 in Mysore, as a part of the "K. Puttu Rao Memorial Concerts".
