Who is the composer?

A beautiful tamil song in Shanmugapriya " Thandai Thai Irundal iwulagathil umakku inda thazvellam varumoiah" is said to be composed by the Tanjore Quartet Ponniah Pillai. Of late I see on CD'S ( Bombay Jayashree, Sowmya,TM Krishna) the composer of this song is said to be Gopalakrishna Bharatiyar. Also, I saw in TMK's concert details in his website that this song was rendered in the ragam"Muhari". Furthermore, I read in my internet search that there is more than one charanam in this composition wherein one can see the Mudhrai of Gopalakrishna Bharatiyar!.

Can someone calrify these points and if one has the Muhari rendering of the " Thandai Thai Irundal iwulagathil umakku inda thazvellam varumoiah" by TMKrishna- a great musician- I would love to hear his presentation of this excellent composition.
If one has charanams of this song available, please give me the reference to look into it.

Apprently according to TM Krishna (Young great Musician) it is Gopalakrishna Bharatiyar. When I asked him the same question he replied to me that the composer is Gopalakrishna Bharatiyar ( though I was under the impression that it was Ponniah Pillai!!). I need someone who knows more about this song and the composer to clarify the doubt I have in my mind.
The song as written by Meena is available in many sites. I do not have the other charanam wherein one says that one can see G.B Mudharai "Gopalakrishnan"

In the sAhithyam posted by Meena is this line:

bAlakirushNan idhaip pArkkum padiyAccE

The bolded word is GKB's mudhra... So, it could very well be GKB's.
