TNK generally doesn't follow up much parallelly when swarams are sung. And I felt this more of Lalgudi type. Any particular reason why you felt it could be TNK?

Sir, the two long swara cycles in the end when he plays do not have the Lalgudi bowing sound.
This seems to be a recording in 80s. TNK's playing technique then was like this. Also I wonder if Lalgudi accompanied Semmangudi in 80s.

I agree with you. I don't think Lalgudi accompanied SSI in the 80s.

Undoubtedly TNK; the shruti, tone, and fingering (especially in the janTa patterns) are unmistakeable.

I have a CBE concert of Semmangudi with Lalgudi and Vellore in 1981. Amba Kamakshi and RTP Kalyani as the main. IIRC, it starts with Pahimam Sri Rajarajeswari. Awesome concert.
