I have seen many bala padam books of yesteryear's say citta tana is a mandate for practice(for vainikas).
but now a days its not taught or neglected.
how did this get in side the bala padam syllabus (sarali-jantai-alankaram-geetham is what is set by purandaradasar )
can anybody share some light on the citta tana's
are there any standard citta tana's for practice(any links available)
SSP has a tanam section which is composed by venkatamakhi for each ragams
pratamabhyasa pustakamu as 5-6 tanams for bala patam practice.
(are these itself also called as citta tanams)
