I am a new member to this forum. To intoduce myself, I am an amateur Carnatic Music listener. My mother is a native of Tiruvaiyaru. That is the only distant connection I have with Carnatic Music. I was drawn into becoming a rasika when I first heard BMK sing "Telisiramachintanato" and "Vadera Daivamu" some 8 years ago. Since then, I have been collecting audio cassettes of performances of various artistes and also recording from AIR telecasts to build a reasonable collection.
From one of the telecasts of Bangalore AIR, I had recorded Neyveli Santhanagopalan's rendition of "Ramanukku Mannan Mudi.." in Hindolam. The recording did not come out very well with power going on and off in between. If any of you have this with you, could you post a link to it ? Do let me know.
