There used to be a tamil radio station called Mostlytamil, which used to broadcast three hours of tamil programs from Stanford in the Bay Area of San Fransisco till Jan.2004.And it used to start it's morning session with one hour of carnatic music, featuring a variety of artistes.
Unfortunately the station closed down for unknown reasons and this was a great loss ot music lovers.
But the only consolation is that their website,<http://www.mostlytamil.com/>
has an archives sections which still has the uploads of these music programs for the years 2003 and 2004, and the first section of each program in this archives starts with carnatic music program lasting upto an hour.I happened to browse through these archives and came away highly satisfied with the musical uploads therein.
