Kalanjali Whitefield has been conceptualised as a forum for chamber concerts by lovers of Indian classical arts in Whitefield, Bangalore. Borne out of passion, our aim is to provide a distinctive experience of classical arts in an intimate setting for enthusiasts and connoisseurs alike.
Chamber concerts can be described as "the music of friends" played within the confines of a home or within smaller spaces. With the shrinking of distance between the artists and the audience, the dialogue makes for an inimitable and meaningful musical experience.
Spirituality has always been an inseparable part of Indian classical music, with ragas and compositions imbuing the listener with a deep connect to the self and divine. Chamber concerts, by their very nature, seek to provide this experience.
There is a dearth of cultural events of a classical bent in Whitefield. Music aficionados therefore have to make the long trek to the city to attend performances that are conducted all year round. Kalanjali is an endeavour to bring music to all, close to where we reside.

vey nice of you to take an initiative to spread it to whitefield , Pretty sure the gang from whitefield cannot go all the way to say Bangalore Gayana samaja near Lalbagh.
having said there is one sabha in chennai which is very far from the bastion of mylapore and Mambalam in a land called pozhichalur , they give minimum 3 hours and it is one of the best music that is intense . I am glad you start at 5 pm but why the hurry at 7pm . Ananhita and Apoorva may have the train only at 9 30 PM at the earliest . You do know how great these sisters sing (Anahita and Apoorva sing) give them time to sing RTP and not make it as whitefield navarathri sundal aping the age old sabhas of mylapore and malleswaram . Give dil maange more time for kalanjali rasikas , best wishes and give a fight to pozhichalur (the sisters know about pozhichalur sabha ).
