Extremely delighted to announce the formation of GURUSMARANAM, a trust in memory of mahAvidwAn Sri Palghat Mani Iyer.
As part of our endeavour to fathom the musical prowess of this genius percussionist, and to be able to reach out to a large audience of discerning rasikAs, we have some very innovative ideas, which will be explained on the date of the inauguration.
The inauguration is slated for the 16 June 2019( coinciding with his month of birth) @ rAgasudhA hall luz Mylapore. A detailed invite will be posted closer to the date.
A quiz, covering Sri Mani iyers musical career spanning over 6 decades, will be another highlight to look forward to on the 16 June 2019. Your participation in large numbers will be a great encouragement for our efforts.
