I found the following post in Orkut.com

Here is an amazing video of Dr.M.Balamuralikrishna singing a brilliant Raga Alapana followed by his Thillana in Kunthalavarali. along with his disciple Prince Rama Varma.
This was recorded at the French Consulate in Pondicherry the evening when Dr.Balamuralikrishna was awarded the title of Chevalier des Letters et des Arts by the French government. Prince Rama Varma spoke in French and gave a concert, at the end of which Dr.Balamuralikrishna joined him and sang this delightful thillana. It is such a pleasure to watch the perfect rapport shared by the Guru and the Shishya and the obvious delight they share in each others' company. Please join the Rama Varma community for more amazing videos, photos, articles and other unexpected tidbits.

I am afraid I only organize events by Others, Sir :-) I feel very honoured to be invited to Andhra Pradesh by Telugu people though, to teach compositions of my Guru Balamurali Sir, who is also a Telugu speaker.

Here are the Videos from Varma Sir's Hyderabad Workshop, promptly posted in youtube by Musiquebox, who by now have gained his/her fan following for posting the handpicked, ecelectic selection of Sir's presentaions and the highly readable comments/remarks posted about the videos! hehehe...

The following videos give us the very detailed and highly patient teaching style of Varma Sir. The kriti is a sweet, short and simple composition of Dr. Balamuralikrishna, Ayya Guruvarya in the Raga Sushama.

(Note to CM Lover Sir: RAGA SUSHAMA, which you wished to listen, Varma Sir is giving splendid swara presentation of the raga before gently taking the students into the Kriti)

Enjoy!
