ragam puraneermai

Can anybody educate me on this ragam.

while i googled.. i found the below things related to it but they have many variations:

1.karnatik.com says:
puranirmai
15 mAyamALava gowLa janya
Aa: S R1 G3 P D1 S
Av: S N3 D1 P G3 R1 S

2.some say it a pann from the tamil music system ??

3.some say it is equivalent to the morning raga(bhupalam)??

4.some say it is eq. to nadhanamakriya / bhoopalam / harikambhoji ??

5.they say there is no textual reference for this raga but this existed from ages??

6.there is an anecdote from shatkala govindamarar's life
when he was asked to sing this raga in the evening....he created an illusion of morning (as this was a morning raga) by singing this at swati thirunal's court.

7. OVK also has composed a thillana in this puraneermai raga

also want to know what does the word puraneermai mean in tamil

I have not heard of this. But this scale is exactly that of Bowli.
