Can some one improvise this 8 Khanda to Tisra, Misra, Chaturasara and Sankirna ? (8*6, 8*7,8*8 and 8*9)
8 Khanda = 8*5=40
Tha, Dhi, Thom,, Tha di gi na Thom (2+2+3+5) = 12
Dhi, Thom,, Tha di gi na Thom (2+3+5) = 10
Thom,, Tha di gi na Thom Tha di gi na Thom Tha di gi na Thom (3+5+5+5) = 18
Some work for our barins. OK ?

This is only Misra kuraippu kOrvai
3) Tha, Dhi, Thom, ta ka ta ri ki ta (2+2+2+6) = 12... (tisra korippu korvai)
4) Tha, Dhi, Thom ta di gi na thom ( 2+2 +1 +5 ) = 10... (khanda korippu)
5) Tha,, Dhi,, Thom,, Tha Dhi gI Na thom (3+3+3+2+2+2+2+1) = 18... Sankeerna Korippu

Similarly you can change this to 7, 8, and 9. I remember hearing Shri. G Harishankar play this. I am not sure who came up with this first.

Dear brother-member, Venu, You have already furnished one variety of 40-units (8 Khandams) and asked for some varieties pertaining to 8x6, 8x7, 8x8 & 8x9. Among them, as 8x8 does not inspire the listener, leaving it away, I hereunder furnish some more varieties pertaining to 8 Khandams (8 x 5=40-units) along with their respective authentic serial numbers which can be verified by any knowledgeable people. As per Talaprastara while (8x5=) 40-units carry the total number of 549755813888 (12 digits) permutations, 48-units carry 140737488355328 (15 digits) permutations, 56-units carry 36028797018963968 (17 digits) permutations and 72-units carry 2361183241434822606848 (22 digits) permutations. amsharma.
