Request for a review of M S Sheela's concert

I was hoping to find a review of M S Sheela's concert at the music academy this season.

I remember reading under the twitter segment that Vijay was planning to attend her concert.

I hope some one from the forum was there and could give us a summary or a review.

Sorry Sreeni I had to miss it since it was over by the time I got there from SRJ's lec dem. I had planned to listen to Karu Velpulu but instead heard an absolutely mind blowing Abhayamba Jagadama from the veteran. I do hope somebody writes about MS Sheela's concert

T V Gopalakrishnan has uploaded on sangeethamshare under 2008 season folder a FM radio broadcst of the same concert. One of the two items uploaded is a 47 minute rendition of the kalyANi kriti Karu Velpulu. I am listening to it right now and enjoying it.

I also managed to download the piece and am presently listening to it! Wonderful alaapana - would have been the best Kalyani alaapana of the season if I had heard it live! AKC's alaapana was pretty good as well

Thanks for posting the link once again! Tani is going well - now listening to a nice 2 avartha korvai in Misram frmo Palladam Ravi whom I have not heard in a while.
