Sept. 27th, 2008 witnessed a grand vocal recital by Bangalore's budding musician Vinay Sharva.
Aptly titled "Saalankrita Simhanandana", the concert featured a Raga-Tana-Pallavi in Simhanandana Talam.
The concert was attended by about 1500 people who expressed their happiness and satisfaction by a standing ovation
at the end of the program.
The concert also received excellent press reviews, which mainly pointed out Sharva's ease of singing the complicated Simhanandana Talam
and also his hold on laya.
"Saalankrita Simhanandana", a Video DVD of the Ragam-Tanam-Pallavi presented during the concert is now available.
The DVD also contains the explanation about Simhanandana Talam, provided by Vinay Sharva during the concert.
