That exuberance and excitement only matters, thanks for posting and keep continuing from hyderabad. BTW one interesting observation , almost all singers based out of andhra/karnatakA sing typically one thamizh filler/tukkadA and it is usually "am I a toy (nAn oru vilayAtu bommaiyA)"

Rajesh,
After all the tossing of the 'toy', may I chime in to say that PS exclaims in the first line: is it fair that you test me, trifle with me? That 'bommaiyA?' somehow sticks in our minds, I suppose. I am saying this because it should not give non-tamizh speakers the idea that it is a song about a toy
Though I have heard this song umpteen times (not my favorite among his songs), and though I have heard Nedunuri sing it several times--whenever he does not sing parAtparA for a tamizh song, I love listening to his singing both!
isramesh,
Isn't it nice to hear Tyagaraja's compositions in Delhi, Mumbai and Chennai and to hear tamizh songs in Hyderabad, Bengaluru and kannaDa songs in all the above places and songs in all the languages elsewhere in the world too? After all, CM finds expression in every one of them and more--not forgetting DRS's sanketi compositions. And Cleveland Aradhana is just round the corner

Arasi,
Yes! I was going to write the same thing about Nedunuri's rendition of both songs, 'parAtparA' and 'nAn oru'. As you rightly said, CM finds expression in everyone....
In general,
I must also add that Nedunuri garu was magnanimous to acknowledge the recognition and support from Chennai (all the sabhas etc.,) in his speech (Sorry! I am not able recollect his words exactly).
Even his disciples (Malladi Sodharulu) make it a point to sing one thamizh song in most of their concerts, here at Hyd.
This speaks about his GREATNESS!!
