Here's a handy quick reference for carnatic ragas: Royal Carpet Expanded Reverse Raaga Janya List
(I've been using the Reverse Raaga Janya List for a few years. Just came across the extended one. I don't know why they created an addition page instead of updating the other one. But the expanded list seems to be missing a few ragas for some reason...).
They also have this page which has fewer entries but a little more information than just the arohana and avarohana.
I've found this to be the most extensive list. (It even lists ragas created by Balamurali! (What more could I want? xD))
If anyone else has more of such raga references, please post links, and, if possible a brief description mentioning its merits. I will keep this post updated by adding the links posted, so new thread viewers don't have to go through the entire thread.
