Dear Rasikas,
Semmangudi Srinivasa Iyer Family would like to mention that Tiruchy Ramesh is neither Grandson or Great Grandson of Semmnagudi Srinivasa Iyer. He is not a blood descandant of semmangudi family.
Claim of association with Semmangudi Srinivasa Iyer for 7 years also does not hold much value.
We from Semmangudi Family wish his all Good luck and win more laurels in Music field, but would certainly and kindly point out that our Grandfather name should not be misquoted.
If the above miquotation has happened without the knowledge of Tiruch Ramesh, then please be careful and get the confirmation of Tiruchy Ramesh before publishing.
Would request the Organizers to be more careful before publishing.

Vivek,
Thanks for pointing the error out, which brings us to an important and ethical question. Does the original poster in this case "Suma", check the validity of the content going on a public forum. I highly doubt it as he/she has no reason to doubt the content. In which case the artist himself is misrepresenting himself. Which is a shame, because the truth ultimately will prevail. There is no reason to make such an association. If your music is good, the rasikas will follow.

Dear Rasikas,
We from Semmangudi family really appreciate the concerns of many rasikas who posted their opinions to uphold our Grandfather Semmangudi heritage.
We from Semmangudi family still reitrate and pray that Tiruchy Ramesh win more laurels in Music field, in his individual capacity.
Let me finish my posting by sharing a small dialogue with my grandfather -
When I was in 10th I think it is 1978-79, when I went to my grandfather house, he was preparing a list and was practicising........My Grand mother told that He had a concert next day. Then after some time, while we had dinner, I asked him, why you specifically practice as you are in this field fully all the time...so by this time you should have mastered everything...........You can go to the concert and perform extempore...
His answer was - you cannot be overconfident.....For any concert you have to prepare, plan and practice......You have to list the songs you are going to present tomorrow in the concert and practice it today....and also need to brush up many other songs, because, if any unexpected demand from the rasikas for any song, that also has to be taken care of.....This preparation will keep you more alert and concious and with Guru's blessings, everything will go well.
With this message from my Grandfather I close my posting here and wish all the young upcoming Musicians a very very bright future.
Regards,
Vivek

Dear Suma,
I thought I should not return back to this forum.......But things seems to get more precipitated........But who has asked to post it.....Why the member himself cant post it.....Why he is using proxy.
What is the man behind the scene wants to tell the world by saying he is from Semmangudi Srinivasa Iyer family........
See, I am saying not because I am his grandson, but as for as music is concerned the word "Semmangudi" has got sanctity.
It is not a Brand name which available free for all!!!!!

Dear Rasikas,
As a duty, I have posted the facts.
We at family feel, that our Grandfather name "Semmangudi Srinivasa Iyer" should not get caught in never ending discussions like this.
Facts are before you......You have the judgement capacity ----- Now the Choice is Yours.
Henceforth I would refrain from posting further threads.
I wish all the young music students a bright future and pray god to bestow them all the prosperity.
To young students, alway speak truth - the greatest advantage of speaking truth is, you need not have to remember what you have said previously!!!!
Good luck to all!..............
Regards,
Vivek
