2. krupaya palaya - charukesi (alapana, swaram @ krupaya palaya)
3. samodam paripalaya - ramapriya (alapana)
4. deva deva mam - todi (alapana, neraval & swaram at ?)
5. mamava sada janani - kanada
6. pahi parvathanandini - arabhi (alapana, tanam, neraval & swaram at pallavi line, tani avarthanam)
7. kamalajasya hruta (dasavathara keerthanam) - ragamalika (mohanam brief alapana)
8. alasara parithapam (starting at jalaja bhandu) - surati
9. bhujaga sayino - yadukula kambhoji
Awsome concert, words can't describe the concert. Charukesi, todi and arabhi alapanas were excellently done, i am still hearing arabhi in my mind now. Some of the songs were very new for me like kalyani and todi, ofcourse dasavathara ragamalika with nice chittaswaras.

Good to know you are listening to the Navaratri Mandapam concerts.
Listening to Parassala Ponnammal is an experience in itself. In a way, I will not call it vintage music because it is living music which pulsates with the classicism of the old days. She creates a calmness around her. Music flows out of her like a soothing brook...

I hadn't remembered the opener of the concert 'sArasa suvadana' in kalyANi until now! A gem, indeed! With her, it would have been spun silk. I say this because even after all these years, I'm reminded of the way that kalyANi of ST unfurls itself. Lyrics and music mesh magically in that song. My guess is that HMB set it to tune
