Very good concert. One felt the artist deserved a longer duration.

Yes, it would have at least changed the main to pakkala nilabadi or some Adi-2kaLai song.

Probably the violinist could have shortened AlApanais a little bit, but honestly 1 hr 30 min is quite cramped!

Nice choice of rAgams, with good mixture of all kinds of riShabhas, gAndhAras, madhyamas, dhaivatas and niShAdas (excluding vivAdi dhaivata and niShAda of course :) )

Nice point noted by srikant1987..... all the 16 sruthies wer ther except for vivadi daivata(cud have been included in naattai :-P) and nishadha....ragas wid vivaadi nishaadha are almost not sung at all.... :-P...except for one panipati sayi in jhankaradwani......popularised by nedunuri maamaa

Sri Nedunuri's rendition is just awesome. In one of the AIR Prog (Vizag!) he sang a short alapana. Just fabulous. Many of these rare kritis / not often sung kritis were popularized by Sri Voleti / Sri Nedunuri.
