Very good concert. One felt the artist deserved a longer duration.

Yes, it would have at least changed the main to pakkala nilabadi or some Adi-2kaLai song.

Probably the violinist could have shortened AlApanais a little bit, but honestly 1 hr 30 min is quite cramped!

Nice choice of rAgams, with good mixture of all kinds of riShabhas, gAndhAras, madhyamas, dhaivatas and niShAdas (excluding vivAdi dhaivata and niShAda of course

Nice point noted by srikant1987..... all the 16 sruthies wer ther except for vivadi daivata(cud have been included in naattai

) and nishadha....ragas wid vivaadi nishaadha are almost not sung at all....

...except for one panipati sayi in jhankaradwani......popularised by nedunuri maamaa

Sri Nedunuri's rendition is just awesome. In one of the AIR Prog (Vizag!) he sang a short alapana. Just fabulous. Many of these rare kritis / not often sung kritis were popularized by Sri Voleti / Sri Nedunuri.
