Smt Radha Viswanathan @ Cleveland
I found this on youtube. I am sure one of the many attendees will post other details. It is wonderful yet again to see Smt Radha and Kum Aishwarya perform together.

We missed you. I kept looking around when your favourite song started. Saundarya slept for most of the concert, till Kaatriniley " Neela Neerathil "meenaakshi wrote:cienu, feeling so bad that i could not be there for aishukka's concert, especially that one piece of music that i wanted to listen since i heard her paractice. something came up and we left. can we catch up with the full concert on youyube sometime? thanks.

Cienu,
So good to hear that the concert went off very well. The picture and the clip say how absorbed your mother was in her singing, brimming with memories.
Aishwarya is concentrating and yet paying attention to her grandmother all the time (as I've seen her before). She takes her music and vINA playing seriously and is well on her way to continue the tradition of her glorious great grandmother. Her grandmother Radha Viswanathan and her teachers are making sure that they would instruct and guide Aishwarya in her talents which go with hard work--I'm not forgetting her parents, of course
Missed the ArAdhanA and missed seeing and hearing you, but will catch up with you at the year end.
Wishing you all a comfortable journey back home (specially your mother).

VKR,
Thanks for your post. I tried to figure it out (with my excellence in computerese
and got the answer--foolish as it may seem, I somehow ended up on a wide screen mode (?) and without realizing it, was missing the end bit of the screen and so missed the edit bit. Do I make any sense? I'm trying to describe rather than use the words that a techie would. Thanks to you, I have deleted my previous post now..

Smt. Radha Viswanathan: What a delight it must have been to listen to her after all these years. Especially all songs are typical MS numbers. Must have been a nostalgic journey. When in India, where does she stay- Bangalore or Chennai?
Aishwarya: Had an opportunity to listen to her concert recently. Chooses a high pitch and maintains it well. To be able to accompany Smt.Radha is a privilege and good fortune. We wish her great luck. Just a word of caution. She naturally gets a lot of "promotion" due to her lineage which is very good. But it also puts undue pressure to perform extremely well every time, on the youngster. My sincere view was that, she still has a very long way to go with regard to any of the manodharma aspects- ragam, neraval or swaram. I am sure her gurus will definitely take care of that. She is still very young and very hard working. By constantly listening to the masters of CM and practising without giving too much emphasis on the "performance" aspect at this stage, I am quite sure she will emerge as a very good artist in a few years time.

Aishwarya still has a very long way to go ! Only years of strenuous practice will fetch her good results.
She should take all these promotions to her stride and work on music.
