Kudos to SG and his progress in performance year upon year.

When I entered the venue it was overflowing and had to be satisfied with outside chair n front of a big TV.....

1) He was performing "Swaram" in Purvikalyani, it was Tiruppugazh.

2) Ragam-Karnaranjani followed by "Vanchathonuna" of HMB and swaram in the same.

3) Enta muddo - Bindu malini -Thyagaraja

4) RTP in Shankarabharanam, Todi, Kalyani and Darbar - Pallavi is "well-known".

5) Tani

6) Maname KaNamum Maravade-Abheri- Papanasam Sivan

7) could not get the kriti..

8) KaNa VeNdamo-Sriranjani-Papanasam Sivan

9) Mangalam

A real curtain raiser for December programme. Normally BVB is not well-known venue for RTP. When he started SBM followed by Todi, I guessed it should be the famous RTP. This 4 raga RTP is not easy one and there would be no surprise if artist like TMK or other senior artists could have rendered this.
But SG carried the RTP with such an ease and ever-efficient Sanjeev had to carefully follow the ragas in return and in few places he slipped. It was such an amazing performance by SG. His RTP rendition really shadowed the beautiful Karnaranjani Ragam and not widely known HMB kriti. Overall AAA+ performance.

I have not heard this though known about. Yesterday sort of "Janma Sabalyam"
People who attended this can write the start-up kritis and Ghatam vidwan name.
Mridangam was bit jarring too. It was not corrected till the end. The tani was very good.
