I heard her for the first time last year and was impressed. It was the niraval in Bhairavi where she found her stride.I suppose it was her first concert for the Season plus I had also heard a very good Yaro Ivar yaro by Sangeeta Sivakumar last week with all the bells and whistles. Both Hamsanandi and Harikambhoji ragams were well done with great depth and melody. Niraval at Meppula Kai was comprehensive and the thani that followed was sprightly.
It was a good to very good concert, great song selection and able accompaniments. Great to be here in Chennai!
