User specific themes is something I've already thought about. However, the forum will have to be upgraded periodically and that may not be supported for all themes.

Srkris: Is it not possible to click on a member to see previous posts by them? I found this to be an easy way to search for things.
Also, is there a reason why you have disabled the member list from the top menu (with the control panel, new posts, active topics etc)?

Sorry for shouting... But Are we supposed to copy/paste and type in [quote} etc.? All this grey and green may be nice, but lets not cut out useful features.

For those who would like to revert to something like the old blue, here is an option.

If you use Chrome or Firefox browsers, install Stylish from here:
http://userstyles.org/.

A user style is available for Rasikas.org from here:
http://userstyles.org/styles/43056

Follow the instructions to install the user style, you are done.
If you are an Opera user, just download the CSS into a local file, and apply it through Site preferences. If you use Internet Explorer, please switch to a better browser

Perhaps clearing your up your browser cache might help..
Try from a different machine as well, if you have access to one.

It is possible for parts of a page to be cached. Where there are repeating elements this makes sense. I don't know if this applies here, but, even though I have no problem with any disappearing elements, I just pressed F5 (refresh) and saw that some rather scruffy-looking buttons got cleaned up

That is indeed a very good one!

There is something funny about the way buttons and stuff are being drawn, so I think I should clear my entire cache.

You're probably going to increase the size of the Report and Delete buttons without that being suggested.

Lovely and very pleasing, especially with alternate posts having a different background shade. I only miss the member link at the top and also clicking on member ID to get all posts by that member . That is a great view for us to know the pattern of posters , needless to say will help all of us atleast know the jAlrAs. Can we call this avatar "alternate blue and grey background" edition.

There used a lovely two links before 2 years back . As soon as you click a member profile , Two links used to appear "Show all posts by the user " and "Show all topics by the user". If you could bring that up that would be wonderful.
So in short four is missing
1. Member link at the top with capability of sorting on user or date or posts

2. The member id having a link , when clicked will give show the profile , where there will be two links "show all posts by the user" and "Show all posts by the Topics"

3. Images are cropped

4. Title of every post is not appearing

Reading # 129, I am assuming that the links of show all posts by User and /or Show All topics by User , Member Profile link that gets into that two will be soon fixed . I hope there is no policy decision to disable that member link and it is a matter of time that would be enabled.

The general theme is great. I'll sleep on fine-tuning comments!

I second (and mentioned elsewhere) the request for easy access to member profile/threads/posts. Making their name a link as suggested would be good.

The reason I changed the "Report" to "Complain" was because some people think they are replying to the post when they hit report. "Complain" is more unambiguous.

Nicer clean look now with the blue and plain backgrounds.
I was looking at the User Control Panel and still see fields such as ICQ and Jabber. Do people still use these? I think the popular networking apps of today are Facebook and Twitter so perhaps these are what should be listed instead.

srkris, it used to behave as a link to their profile, and from there we could email the user. Emailing the user, in particular, is a beautiful feature, since it allows a kind of semi-anonymity. It allows individual members to, if they choose, become more than co-members of the forum.

Srkris, as others have been suggesting, I would also like to see the following features reinstituted if possible:

1. E-mail forumite
2. Clicking on a member's username in posts to see past posts and threads by the member
