A very apt pallavi was chosen for the Shiva-Vishnu temple tuned to Raga Karna ranjani. The lyrics being Om Namo Narayanaya Om Nama Shivaya. A detailed rendition of Karna Ranjani by Sri.K.N.Shashikiran was complimented well by Ranjani Ramakrishnan on the violin. His brother Sri Ganesh did a good job of the Thanam. Thanam was rendered in a string of different Ragas, and made every listener pay attention to the ragas that changed every minute. Technically Keezhkaalam, melkaalam, chathurashra tishram, anulomam and pratilomam were also rendered in the pallavi. Tani Avarthanam by Sri.Murugabhoopathy and Dr.Ramakrishnan boosted the energy level of the concert.
The tillana in bindumalini was rendered with intense emotion. A string of songs followed, that includes Bhagyatha lakshmi, Maname kanamum, Jaga janani, Taare bindu, followed by the Dasavataara mangalam. Concert was a complete package and energy level of the artists kept the listener's in awe.
