The season at chennai got a kickstart at Bhavan's. Obul Reddy and Gnamba awards were gvn to Sri.BMK and Smt.Nithyasree. Patriarch of Parur family,Suguna Varadachari and Chembannarkoil Raja were gvn awards by Bhavan.

Smt.NM gave inaugural concert. After my last outing to NGS for bsu,i decided to skip this Vidushi.A friend of mine who is a newbee to CM wanted to listen to her and i accompanied him. I went with prayers that she should not sodapify and kill my day.It turned out to be a good concert with Smt.NM in full form.

The bhavan was overflowing for the concert. thodi was built in a step by step manner and was soulful. There was a thunderous applause from the audience once she finished her alap. Since the concert began at 6:45, there was a mass exodus once the vocalist finished her version of thodi. I also strted at this point as i have to reach home.

era muni,en neramum and sara sama dana were well rcvd by the audience.
Earlier during the inaugural, the chief guest spoke abt the Bhavan's contribution and praised the artistes for thier commitment.He said he s watching NM daily in ASSJ .

Sri.BMK said he considered this award as Nobel reddy prize and NM said she equtes this with Nobel prize and was pleased to get this award with gr8 BMK.
