The brothers have all the necessary ingredients to make the concert successful every time ! They began "Nee bhakthi" with the Anupallavi lines and sang few rounds of Kalpana swarams for the Pallavi. Shashikiran and Ganesh sang a superb Lalitha followed by Nannu Brova. Nagai Muralidaran's Lalitha was amazing as well ! It was pleasing to listen to the brothers sing the Kriti at ease. Edayya Gati was absolutely soulful ! "garudadhwani sangeethadhwani
hamsadhwani madhuradhwani" was the pallavi line. Ganesh sang a superb Garudadhwani and so was Shashikiran's Hamsadhwani. The tanam following this was shared by the two. They sang the pallavi in 4 speeds and also in Tisram. The Kalpana swarams were sung in different gatis at different eduppus. The swararagamalika had a theme-"Hamsa" ragas (Hamsa as prefix). They rendered Hamsanadam and Hamsanandi and in reverse sang a korvai leading to the pallavi line. Though short, K.V.Prasad and K.V.Gopalakrishnan played a briliant tani for the pallavi. Towards celebrating the Centenary of Brinda amma and Madurai Mani Iyer the brothers sang a Tamil Padam in Sahana and the English Note. They concluded the concert with a Kannada song in Madyamavati. Despite the audio systems causing trouble during the first two songs, the brothers carried it forward really well and the kucheri was well attended and the brothers drew a great response from the crowd !

*Garudathwani elaborately handled by Ganesh.Platform was equally shared by brothers.
* Nagai's Lalitha was excellent. He brought out the essence of Garudhathwani as he started the first bow for raga elaboration.
*Sashikiran exchanging gestures including with kanjira artist (Normally we find upapakka vadyam being looked at only during Tani) quite often-welcome feature."Vaitheeswarankovil SubbarAma Iyer is the composer of sahAnA padam" any other compositons by him?
