Excellent! A welcoming decision. IMO this is the 2nd statue after Tirupathi.

Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Maharashtra (Mumbai) now. When is Tamilnadu, her home for her entire life, going to build her statue?

In Chennai, we should have a memorial where people can go and have peace reading her beautiful life in pictures, anecdotes, etc., listening to her music and the tributes paid to her, the causes she supported, etc. I am sure a lot of people will be willing to contribute. Hope someone will take it up and organise.
