I attended Brinda Manickkavasaakam's concert there. The video is no longer up, so can't make a comparison, but this is very much a temple-concert experience. Acoustics, etc, are par for that particular course (and, actually, better than some halls!) but not exactly good. With a concert in this sort of environment, we have to take it as we find it. I guess that goes for Parivadini too.

At the moment we are webcasting the ambient sound are not taking the audio from the mixer line out. Hence the audio is as good as the ambiance. We hope to improve on this in the coming months. Thanks for your understanding.

knrho5 - We do not record concerts. What we stream is getting uploaded automatically in youtube. That particular day, the internet connection was very poor resulting in major data loss. We unfortunately don't have the full concert with us.

parivadini team, Congratulations and thanks for executing this streaming initiative successfully. Now that you have a breathing moment or two after the hectic season, please consider what it will take to record the concerts and keeping it temporarily ( as a cache ) until you have a chance to upload it to youtube. If there are any legal and permission issues, then of course it is out of your hands. I can not speak for all the members here, but some of our members would be able to pitch in towards buying any equipment to make this possible.
