I met her when I was in Chennai 3 years ago and found her to be a delightful person, easy to talk to and very knowledgeable. She generously shared some rare books with me to copy songs from.

Very interesting. I've heard her in the late 70s and also on Doordarshan in the early 80s.
Glad to hear that she is doing well.

I heard her in the US in a house concert. She sang for Kamala Lakshman's dance programs in the eighties there. A very good singer.

She has a sweet voice. She gave a concert in Bhairavi Pondicherry on 13/8/83 with MS Anantharaman on the violin and Ramiah on the mridangam.
