Oh Siva (SaMkaranE)! Creator (karanE) of auspiciousness (mangaLa) [1]! Compassionate one (karuNAkaranE)! The one who defeated/quelled (venRavanE) desire/manmatha (kAmanai)! I (nAn) will not forget (maRavEn) (your) lotus (kamala)-like feet (pAdam).

2) (I may) not wither away (vADAmal) by falling (vIzhndu) into this worldly (samsAra) web (valaiyil) under the spell (vasamAi) of illusion (mAyai),
3) (I may) not disagree/move away (vERupADAmal) from your (undan) glory (pugazhin) after losing (izhandu) my wisdom (bOdham),
4) (I may) attain (peRavE) the objective of my existence (uRudi) [3] like (pOl) virtuous (puNNiya) ascetics (yOgiyar) at the heightened (uyar) state (neRiyil) of renunciation (tuRavu),
5) the six (aRu) enemies (pagai) [2] of the mind may be destroyed (aRavE)

uRudi peRavE - means 'to become established' - in the path(neRiyil) of tuRavu - renunciation. 'peRudal' gets different meanings depening on usage. By itself, it means 'act of receiving' - uRudi peRu, nilai peRu - mean almost same.
