Hello! Can anyone please help me with the meaning in English of Pushpanjali Shloka, please!

Vigna Nam nashanam Karthum, Bhoothanam Raksha Nayacha
Devanam Thushtayea chapi, Preksha Kanam Vibhuthaye
Shreyasenaya Kasyatra, Patra Sumrakshanayacha
Archarya Shiksha Sidhyarthum, Pushpanjalim Adhara Bhed

Please help me! I cannot dance when I don't know the meaning!

vighnAnAam nAshanam kartum, bhUtAnAm rakShaNAya ca
dEvanam tuShTayE cApi, prEkshakAnAm vibhUtayE |
shrEyasE nAyakasyAtra, pAtra-samrakShaNAya ca
AcArya-shikShA-siddhyartham, pushpanjalim athArabhet ||

(I have rearranged phrases so that the English meaning is continuous)

nAshanam kartum - To cause destruction
vighnAnAam - of obstacles,
ca - and
rakShaNAya - for protection
bhUtAnAm - of creatures,
ca api - and also
tuShTayE - for the pleasure
dEvanam - of the devas, (and)
vibhUtayE - for the prosperity
prEkshakAnAm - of the viewers, (and)
shrEyasE - for the welfare
nAyakasya - of the hero
atra - here,
ca - and
pAtra-samrakShaNAya - for the safety of all characters, (and)
siddhyartham - for the fructification of
AcArya-shikShA - the learning from the teacher,
atha - now (hence),
Arabhet - one should begin
pushpanjalim - the offering of flowers.
